Iron Soul
The Ritual of Passage
Some of the living like to say that death is only the beginning. Others like to say that death is the final destination. Most prefer not to think of death at all when they can keep from it. For them, death is taboo; to consider it is to invite it in.
For Robert, an amnesiac soul who can't even recall his own last name, death is an answer to a question he's long since forgotten. Chained to the world of the living by memories he subconsciously rejects and a level of spiritual power that defies common sense, Robert is an Iron Soul: a form of spiritual existence so rare it's the stuff of legend. Inevitably, he is dragged to the center stage of his very own danse macabre filled with the scheming dead, whimsical spirits, and horrifying spectral monstrosities. He will know conspiracies, make war, and face madness to preserve the natural order of life and death; the whole world will hang in the balance.
Life is just a casting call, death is just a transition. The afterlife is where the adventure really begins.
